Along with our collective experience and expertise, patients can expect an exceptional level of personalised care, tailored to their specific circumstances, preferences and lifestyle. In keeping with this ethos, we have carefully designed every aspect of our practice with our patients’ needs in mind. This includes our brand-new, purpose-built fertility centre in Box Hill where patients can undergo all their investigations and treatment in the one place. Our co-located services include a fully accredited, state-of-the-art laboratory, day surgery (operated by Epworth Eastern), specialist nursing and counselling services, medication dispensing, ultrasound, pathology, and a semen analysis facility employing the World Health Organisation’s 5th edition standards.
For the convenience of our patients, our fertility specialists will continue to consult at all their usual locations. We have also teamed up with leading providers in pathology and radiology, so patients can have their investigations performed closer to home, if preferred. The Ekera medical complex, in which we are based, also has its own dedicated carpark, café and medical centre. With Epworth Eastern and Box Hill Hospitals located next door, patients also have ready access to a wide range of other medical services.Meet our team
For example, our semen analysis facility meets the World Health Organisation’s 5th edition standards, reflecting the latest recommended criteria for testing. We are also one of only a few laboratories in Victoria able to offer DNA fragmentation testing.
For IVF, we use the EmbryoScope time-lapse system, sequential media and EmbryoGlue as standard to aid the development, selection and transfer of embryos. We also routinely use egg spindle visualisation for all ICSI procedures – employing a specially designed, high-powered microscope and polarised light to help us select the eggs with the best potential for fertilisation.
An on-site day surgery owned and operated by Epworth Eastern also ensures that ‘precious cargo’ moves quickly and seamlessly from bedside to lab following egg collection and other procedures.
Further, we are pleased to be able to offer patients, where suitable, the option of non-invasive chromosomal screening (NICS). This enables embryos that were previously considered too weak for pre-implantation genetic testing (PGT) to now also be screened prior to transfer into a woman’s womb (uterus).
By employing these techniques, we aim to optimise every treatment cycle, giving our patients a better chance of achieving a successful pregnancy sooner.Learn more
An individual or couple’s fertility is incredibly nuanced – there is no one-size-fits-all approach. At Newlife IVF, we work hard to understand the underlying cause of your fertility issues before tailoring your care accordingly. In some cases, this may mean that IVF is not necessary – other treatment may suffice. In other cases, specialised IVF – involving ICSI or IMSI – may be recommended to enhance your chances of conceiving.
No matter which path you travel, the team at Newlife IVF will always be open and honest with you, and will manage your care with warmth and kindness. This ethos extends across our entire team, from our specialists, nurses and lab technicians to our management and administrative team. Patients are also supported by our dedicated team of specially trained counsellors who offer 1:1 consultations, as well as peer group sessions, so you can connect with others undergoing a similar journey.Contact us
We treat everyone with respect and dignity. We’re thoughtful and considerate. We have a strong ethical conscience, so our first priority is to do right by our patients and those who entrust their care to us.
We are committed to providing equitable access to advanced scientific tools and techniques. We offer best scientific practice as standard – not just to those who can afford to pay extra.
We pay close attention at every step of the treatment cycle, and make careful decisions about how our patients’ life-giving assets are cared for and treated in the laboratory setting. Our systems and processes mean we are well-placed to identify why a cycle was or was not successful, and to use this knowledge to inform future care.
We are committed to enabling our patients’ success throughout their journey with us. We do not give false hope, but we are dedicated to providing our patients with options that provide the best chance of conception for them.
Everyone is different and our fertility care reflects this. What is right for one person or couple may not be for another. We take the time to truly understand our patients’ circumstances from every angle – physiological, lifestyle, social and emotional – and to offer care and options tailored to them.
We are driven by the belief that families bring joy to life – so we apply every last ounce of our expertise, along with the very latest that science and technology can offer, to bring you this joy at the end of your Newlife journey.
